They had something that my public school didn't have, which was an honor code of conduct. The code of conduct stated “no stealing, no lying and no cheating.” Which was strongly enforced. The school ranged from grades 5 to 12 and had approximately 400 students. My first year there, there were only 12 students in my class, so it was quite difficult to keep everything we did to ourselves. Around year 7, we welcomed more people and our class sizes quadrupled to around 50 people. This was the largest class size at Altamont. That's when people started getting mean and way too intrusive in their personal space. There weren't really any cliques due to the small class size. But every time a new person came to school, people were nice to them for a few weeks and then the new person either found their place or not. Since the bill was so small, everyone knew everyone else's business. There was a girl in my class whose name I won't say. She tried to fight with someone every day, whether it was over something logical or not, she loved to fight. I don't know if Altamont had any laws against bullying when I was there, because even though it was a very good school, I don't remember if they ever did anything about the girl and her bullying, at leaves to take him to the office and talk to him. As we were still considered to be in primary school, we could not yet be retained. She never bothered me because
