Essay / Brief biography of Hitler and examples found in...
Indescribable events struck and tore the bodies and minds of Jews living in Europe. Stripped of their material possessions, they wondered what kind of hell they would endure in the hours to come. One man was the puppeteer; a man was the monster the children feared would take them away in the night. No one knew the reason, motive or fuel that fueled his hatred. Brutal struggles in Hitler's mind pushed him to provoke inhumane struggles for all Jews, as evidenced in Elie Wiesel's novel The Night. It was a big lie, no one knew Hitler's grave intentions, they only knew the silky and attractive words he spoke. As his campaign grew and his power expanded further, his propaganda became more convincing and his acts of violence were more easily accepted. “I use emotion for the majority and I reserve reason for a few.” (Adolf Hitler) Emotion can be many things, hatred, love, aggression and many more. Hitler was nothing less than an emotional child his entire life. From birth to death, if he didn't get what he wanted, hell would freeze over. He knew what the German people wanted, so he used his sick business sense to get what they wanted. (1-5)The characters in Elie Wiesel's novel Night received the tip of the spear in Hitler's dreams. He wanted them to disappear, not injured or mutilated, but erased from the face of the earth. Elie remembers these horrors and nothing can erase them from his memory. If Hitler couldn't kill all the Jews, he at least wanted them to be remembered for generations. Life would never be the same for Elie and his family, Hitler wanted to attack them, not just physically but emotionally. It was a deep attack, complete hatred for no reason. The question is why? Why did this man really want to inflict such horror and rejection on him, making him an unstoppable villain. The world will never forget this monster, and we will never forget the lives he took.
