The Big 5 Traits Factor The Big Five theory identifies certain traits that explain a person's personality. It examines the following aspects of a person: 1). Opening, 2). Conscientious, 3).Extraversion, 4). Agreeableness,5). Neuroticism. A person's openness is measured by the following factors: 1.) A person's curiosity, 2). how truthful a person is 3). appreciation of imagination, 4). willingness to try something new, 5). they are traditional. A person who scores high in this area is generally outgoing, curious, open to new things, and embraces experience. Individuals who score low in this area tend to be more traditional, staying in the comfort zone, not exploring new ideas. Conscientiousness occurs when a person demonstrates a great deal of self-discipline, is highly task-oriented, and will complete a job as efficiently as possible. A person who scores high in this area is highly efficient, very goal-oriented, punctual, and organized. A person who scores low in these areas tends to have no direction, be careless, unpredictable, and unlikely to finish what they start. Extroversion is the characteristic of a positive person who seeks the company of others. They value time spent with others more than time spent alone. Individuals who score high in this area enjoy being the center of attention or the life of the party, are comfortable with others, do not mind initiating conversations, and will actively speak with multiple people involved in the gathering. Individuals with a low score in this area generally don't like to go where there are people they don't know, they prefer to be in the middle of a paper......
