I am UniqueSince I was a young child, I always knew that I was different from others. Although I didn't realize I was "smart" until around fourth grade, I had been moved to the first year of kindergarten. While my friends struggled with their homework, completing it seemed easy to me, like riding a bike. Apparently I've never ridden a bike. No, from the beginning, my passion and talent was in written materials. In second grade, I had my own library card and went there at least once a week. While other children were rewarded for good behavior with parties, money, or trips with friends, my reward was being able to browse the organized rows of books in the library, selecting and checking out those that sparked my interest. I would read five, ten, fifteen books at a time, fearing that I would run out of reading material before my next visit.
