    As I reflect and examine my career path, I realize that I haven't really had a career path. I have held a few jobs; however, I have yet to have a job that would allow me to have a career. Plus, I've only worked a few months at each of the jobs I've had in the past. Currently I don't have a job yet and I realize that I am now 24 and should start my career. However, I haven't been looking for jobs in my career field because I feel like I'm not ready to start working in my field yet. I was only seventeen when I started working. I lived in a very small town with a downtown area full of different stores. During the summer, most downtown stores posted job postings looking for young people to work during the summer season. I decided I wanted to get some work experience and decided to apply to one of the stores. The store I worked at was called Kid City; it was a children's clothing store. I enjoyed the job I had at first; all I did was open the boxes and place the clothes on the shelves so the store associates could hang them on the store shelves. I enjoyed this job because I didn't have to deal with customers coming into the store. However, I was then moved to the front of the store so that the intellectual stimulation would allow me to think and be on my feet without ever getting bored at work. Additionally, the security and economic rewards will make me feel like I have a secure job with compensation for my duties in the workplace. Structure, recognition and convenience are important but not as important. These are values ​​that I look for in a career, but which will not affect my decision if they are not acquired in the workplace.
