Microsoft Excel CourseworkSensei Lee Griffin and sensei Mark Seat are the owners of NorthLondon jikishin jiu jitsu association. They train some of Britain's best jiujitsu fighters and Lee and Mark compete regularly. They began teaching the Japanese martial art to many young children as well as adults. Their training area is state of the art and the facilities are magnificent, one of the questions their students ask them is "where am I in the club rankings?" Currently, Sensei Lee and Sensei Mark are not able to answer these questions, they simply do not have the opportunity to show their fighters who is the best in the club. This is a problem because every club in the South East, if England has the opportunity to enter just one fighter in the biggest regional competition of the year, that competition is Southend. All the fighters at the North London jiu jitsu club strive to be the best in the club. so they can go south and hopefully bring the regional championship to their club. Sensei Lee has currently sent the same fighter for the last three years, some of the other members of the club want a chance of getting into Southend and have therefore suggested that a record of the fights that have taken place in the club be kept. They want to use a points system and the fighter with the most points at the end of the summer will be entered to represent the North London Jiu Jitsu Club in the South End. Sensei Lee and Sensei Mark have both approved and believe it will be a fair way to choose a fighter to represent the club at the Southend competition. Considering alternative solutions...... middle of paper ......n Initial designs Sensei Lee said he liked the simplicity of the board, he said it would make it easier to use the system for himself or for Mark. Sensei Mark said he would like to see some color to make the column headers stand out from the actual names. fighters. This change was easy and quick and the change was done in just a few minutes. Final design Implementation of the table: * Inset formula, sum of victories, defeats and draws to obtain the total of fights. * Creation of a macro to automatically add up points won, lost and drawn. combats.* The macro was created by going to macro-tools (named the macro) – I went back to macro-tools- stop recording, then I created a text box and gave a title to it. the macro, and finally I assigned the macro to the text box.
