Essay / Solar Energy: The Future of Fossil Fuels for the Future
Fossil fuels are the primary energy resources that have helped build human civilization over the past centuries. In the 18th century, the industrial revolution began and people began to use coal (a type of fossil fuel) to power the steam engine. This is the turning point in history, where the manufacturing process changes from manual production to mechanical production. It was the beginning of today's technology era. However, with 200 years of uncontrolled use of fossil fuels, these energy resources are becoming increasingly diminished and will eventually disappear forever, as fossil fuels take billions of years to form. Now is the time to develop a different type of energy resource to replace fossil fuels before they disappear. Solar energy is one of the renewable energy resources developed to replace fossil fuels. It was one of the most convenient and cleanest energy resources available on earth. Solar power operations involve the conversion of solar energy into electrical energy using photovoltaic cells. The whole process is clean and will not produce pollutants to the environment. In 2011, the International Energy Agency encouraged all countries to develop solar energy technologies. They emphasize that investment costs in initial development should not be reduced and that research should be shared between countries, as solar energy technologies bring enormous long-term global benefits to humanity. Such benefits include: increasing the energy security of the country as solar energy is a free and inexhaustible resource that can be obtained from the sun, reducing pollutants towards the environment and decreasing energy dependence on fossil fuels, which will reduce the price of fossil fuels. . These energy resources are the most...... middle of paper ......hieve.1.3 Project overflow This project is basically separated into three stages: research stage, testing stage and design stage and the evaluation stage. First, all requirements were listed and research was carried out to find the optimal solution. Once the optimal solution was chosen, the block diagram and schematic diagram were designed. All component parameters have been calculated to meet the requirement. The circuit was first tested on the breadboard to discover the imperfect design and problem. If there are no problems on the circuit, a PCB fabrication of the circuit has been carried out. The solar tracker gear and bracket are then designed and manufactured. All the parts were then assembled and tested under the sun. Data was collected and product performance was analyzed and evaluated. Figure 1 shows the flowchart of the entire project process.
