Essay / Ghost In Hamlet: 'The Ghost of King Hamlet' - 1040
The ghost was evil. The ghost did not reappear after Hamlet murdered Polonius and he left Hamlet to suffer alone. He offered no guidance again or merely comforted the orders to murder Claudius. If the ghost was actually his father, he would try to help him. His actions caused a series of actions throughout Hamlet that led to a series of deaths including his own and to the great tragedy that is Hamlet. He was just a puppeteer holding Hamlet's strings and putting his evil deeds into play.
