Personal hygiene is important in everyone's life because of its great importance in promoting health and strengthening, and many people still do not realize what good personal hygiene is and play a role in it. the prevention of many infectious diseases and fungal and other infections whether of the skin or eyes, etc. as they say, cleanliness is two thirds of health. In this mission we will discuss the role of personal hygiene and its positive impact in the fight against infectious diseases, as well as infectious diseases and risks that caused human life, caused by weakness and lack of confidence in itself. hygiene, and will learn the type of infectious disease that spreads between individuals and society is scabies. Personal hygiene “refers to everything we do to keep our bodies clean and healthy.” It is about maintaining cleanliness of the body like cleanliness of hands and nails, hair, etc. and these areas more prone to capturing harmful microbes (Crissey, 2005). There are several infectious diseases linked to lack of personal hygiene that affect the digestive, respiratory system and the skin, such as scabies. “Scabies is a skin infection caused by Sarcoptes scabiei” (Chang et al, 2006). It discusses to what extent the role of health promotion among the individual and the community in raising the average level of health and the significance of the educational approach, which is one of the most important methods used in health promotion and the main objective of this approach and the prevention of infectious diseases, and what it represents in making people aware of the importance of personal hygiene and how to achieve this objective by applying the principles of hygiene and education of people.
