Essay / Autism - 689
It has been determined that approximately 1 in 42 boys and 1 in 189 girls are diagnosed with autism in the United States alone. Autism has many different effects on the human body. In most cases, it also seriously affects their social life. Autism not only affects a person's body and social life, it also affects so much more. For example, it also affects a person's ability to communicate with others. Having communication problems can make it harder for them to express their feelings if something goes wrong. Additionally, as they get older, it can be much more difficult to find/apply for a job. For this reason, it also affects their interactions with others. Not being able to interact with others prevents them from making friends as easily as others (Society). Being autistic also makes it harder to live independently, but with poor social skills it's hard to find someone who would be willing to stay with you through tough times. Not being able to live independently can cause you to have a different view of the world. Having a different worldview means that you see the world from a different perspective than others. People who are not autistic, for example, can see a herd of cows walking in circles, but autistic people can see from a whole new perspective and take it in a different way (autism). If your child exhibits any of these effects or lacks the ability to do things that should be done at his age, it could be a sign of autism. There are many general signs of autism. At a certain age, children's lack of communication with their family and other children can be a clear sign of autism. Additionally, if a child shows signs of strange behavior, it could be a sign of autism (Society). Ano...... middle of article ......d who is autistic. Works Cited "About Autism - Autism Society."
