    Summary Nowadays, every time we turn around we hear horror stories or stories of unbelievable proportions because they seem so unbelievable. Stories such as people murdering people for no reason, daylight robberies, government "cover-ups", and unfortunately the list goes on and on. And when we hear these stories, we often wonder what makes these people behave this way or, better yet, we say, "I can't believe that." The next question comes to mind: what happened to their morality? And because unethical acts seem to touch everyone's lives in one way or another, this story discusses the different types of ethics and their meanings. For many years, people like Confucius, Aristotle, and Benjamin Franklin attempted to explain their views on "what constitutes good morals and ethics." We all seem to have morals and ethics at some point in our lives (probably around childhood); but over the years, many of us have lost them. And unfortunately, for whatever reason, people seem to have less and less compassion and concern for their fellow human beings. That said, doesn’t everyone deserve to be treated with dignity and respect? After many years of research, there is still no valid reason for this injustice. After exploring the research and resources presented, the reader may be able to come to a conclusion. This article presents comparisons of the different types of “personalities or morals” as well as their beliefs and thoughts. Some have more than others, and what's good for one person isn't always good for another. Many of us are unhappy with the way the world is changing due to the upheaval we are currently experiencing.
