    South Africa is located at the southern tip of Africa, the 25th largest country in the world and has a population of 53 million. It is a multi-ethnic society that includes a variety of cultures, religions and languages. In terms of religion, 1.5 percent of the total population is Muslim in South Africa, making them the minority of the community. Islam developed in three phases which are the involuntary migration of slaves, political prisoners and political exiles from Africa and Asia like Indonesia began from the mid-1800s to 1952, the arrival of Indian workers from 1874 to 1911 and the post-apartheid period when the wave of African Muslims to the borders of Africa.
