In general, the storming stage is inevitable, but it is also important for establishing an effective distributed leadership system. This is an important time to test the leader and assign roles to members. However, strained communication and lack of leadership can lead to risk of failure. It is therefore important for a team to seek mutually acceptable solutions to these problems.
