Nonetheless, Kuldeep could be the underlying organizer to “[lead] the planning effort” (Barry, 1991) given his organizational advantage. As well as Dominic, who could be the underlying key to linking group work to external resources, as he has experience in customer liaison and marketing. Shared leadership between team members can exist (CARSON, TESLUK and MARRONE, 2007). In general, the storming stage is inevitable, but it is also important for establishing an effective distributed leadership system. This is an important time to test the leader and assign roles to members. However, strained communication and lack of leadership can lead to risk of failure. It is therefore important for a team to seek mutually acceptable solutions to these problems.
