Essay / Running for Texas Senator - 1500
If Jennifer Alvarado ran for Texas Senator, she would do everything in her power to defeat her opponents and win the election. As part of a successful campaign, Jennifer would strive to have an appropriate number of campaign staff; which means plenty of volunteers and a strong consultant and campaign manager to use a sound strategy to win the election. She would raise money months in advance to prepare for the election. Jennifer would contact organizations or groups that share the same beliefs as her and she would advertise in most, if not all, public media outlets. A campaign is effective when the staff available are dedicated and appropriate. Fourteen staff members are barely enough if Jennifer wants to win. Twenty, thirty, maybe even fifty is more for running a successful and effective campaign, that's when volunteers are needed. The important positions involved are the campaign manager and a consultant, they help develop a strategic approach to winning the election. This is one of the most important aspects of a campaign, as well as a strategy in hand; the campaign shows where to go; how to raise funds, the expenses or budget to build, and which audience and groups to target. Fundraising is not an easy task. The money is distributed by wealthy donors who share the same beliefs as Jennifer. It could be a donation from interest groups or organizations that would like Jennifer to win as a Texas senator, or it could always come from Jennifer's own pocket for her own campaign. The money is useful for future expenses related to the promotion of future senator Jennifer. Money plays a huge role in a campaign. This allows us to build a competitive campaign because we find ourselves in the middle of paper......the federal issue: abortion. Democrats support abortion and "freedom from government intrusion into our private lives" ((Newell, Prindle, Riddlesperger 117). I completely agree with this statement. Our government is our government, it That's all. Our government should not be allowed to make our own personal decisions - especially when it comes to a decision regarding its own body. The government should only be allowed to control the economy or any other. non-personal issue with citizens. Every woman should have the right to do what she wants with the embryo or fetus she has inside, as stipulated and protected by the constitution. Abortion does not actually kill a life because it is not conscious, rather abortion decreases our human population and eliminates a burden on adolescent girls and accessible to individuals throughout the country..
