Deci and Richard M. Ryan [1] represents a general framework for the study of human motivation and defines intrinsic and varied sources of motivation. I applied this theory on myself and examined my personal desire when looking for a new challenge, in my case being healthy. I started to wonder how important it is to embrace intrinsic or extrinsic motivation? It has been found in SDT that intrinsically motivated people are more likely to want to engage in tasks. As soon as I understood that choosing a key requirement to maintain my motivation was to keep things interesting and enjoyable while completing the required task, which changes my behavior towards better health, I began to implement it in my daily activity. and I saw much better results than my previous one
