Human Heart Process The human heart has four chambers, the right atrium, left atrium, left ventricle, and right ventricle. The human heart has a multitude of amazing characteristics. The normal heart rate for adults is 120/80. The human heart weighs twelve ounces and beats at seventy-two beats per minute. It is the size of a human fist. Its blood flow performs many functions and is extremely vital for our body. We couldn't survive without our heart. I will talk about the functions of our heart and the blood flow of our heart. I'll go into detail to let you know things you've probably never heard. Our heart, its four chambers and blood circulation are very interesting and essential to our well-being. Many things can ruin the way the heart works and functions. I will talk about all the ways that ruin it and I will also cover the valves of the heart, which are important for the blood flow of the heart. The human heart has two ventricles and two atria making up four chambers. The heart includes the atria and ventricles. The left atrium and left ventricle make up the left side of the heart and the right atrium and right ventricle make up the right side of the heart. Each side is important but the left ventricle and left atrium are the most important, and I'll tell you why. The left ventricle receives blood from the left atrium and pumps it to the aorta. The aorta pumps oxygenated blood to the rest of the body. If someone shot you in the left ventricle, you would most likely die. That's why it's the most important. It pumps blood to the rest of your body. The right ventricle is also important. The right ventricle receives blood from the right atrium and pumps it to the pulmonary artery. The pulmonary artery has...... middle of paper ......use of death in America, in part due to smoking. The best way to keep your heart healthy is to eat well, get plenty of exercise, and not smoke cigarettes. Our heart and its many functions all work together as a huge electrical system with the four heart valves as the command center that brings blood to support the rest of the body. Without our heart and its important work, we could neither breathe nor live. It is essential to keep it healthy. Our heart is so important and I think sometimes we take that for granted. Our four bedrooms are our life. The better you take care of it, the better it works. It's a very fascinating and time-consuming process, but it's important that we keep in mind how vital this fist-sized organ is to our body. The four chambers of our heart constitute the very foundation of our existence.
