Putting money in the right place is something our country has struggled with in recent years. In 2006, “…nearly 17 billion dollars will enter NASA's coffers, of which approximately 5.3 billion will be devoted to space exploration” (Source E). Giving $17 billion to a company is a lot of money. Only 31% of this sum will be devoted to space exploration. Space exploration is important, but giving NASA $17 billion is way too high. There are other important things that some of this money could be devoted to, like our national debt....
