    Several people in history have left their mark on the world. Important people come from all over the world and leave a lasting impression for years. From presidents who led the United States in desperate times to a young man who discovered the multimillion-dollar Apple company, influential people have done much for the eras that followed them. They can lay the foundation for future discoveries, leave lasting impressions with their ideas, and serve as role models for millions of people around the world. Important people come from all corners of the world and can differ greatly from each other in their lives, attitudes and achievements. A prominent and influential figure of the early 20th century was Albert Einstein, physicist, mathematician and genius. Albert Einstein was truly an influential man who impacted the world in many ways and changed the way people viewed science for generations after his life. Albert Einstein began his influential life at a young age. Born in 1879, Albert Einstein grew up as a gifted young boy. He excelled in a number of subjects, such as mathematics, science and music. He played several instruments and won several academic awards (History of Albert Einstein). Having such an educated childhood benefited Einstein in the long run. He had acquired knowledge as a child that would carry him into adulthood. As a talented adult, Einstein would accomplish great things. In 1894, Einstein left school and only resumed his studies when he was accepted into the Swiss Federal Polytechnic Institute in Switzerland. It was here that Albert met his wife, Mileva Maric.
