IntroductionThe subject of industrial health and safety is considered to be one of the topics that have attracted the attention of many researchers and scholars. In this chapter, the researcher will highlight numerous studies carried out on this subject. The titles that will be covered are: The concept of industrial health and safety, the importance of industrial health and safety, Occupational health and safety in Palestinian industrial facilities (Barriers, awareness and responsibility), credibility of workers' compensation insurance and compensation in Palestine, the impact of occupational safety and security on job satisfaction and productivity, the impact of gender, years of experience, level of education, working hours and training on occupational safety and security and ways and plans to improve occupational safety and security in Palestine. Research questions are: 1- Do Palestinian industries manage security conditions effectively (by doing the right things)? 2- Are employees satisfied with the safety and security conditions in Palestinian industries? 3- What are the main weaknesses in safety and security conditions? can we do to improve the safety conditions in the various Palestinian industries?2.1 The concept of industrial health and safety.
