We have one soul. We live in one nation. We are lucky that our lives are free. Even though we live in a peaceful world, that doesn't mean that oppression doesn't actually exist. There is always a contradiction between people's instincts. And this will lead to oppression that can destroy human freedom and harmony. However, there are ways people can deal with it. According to Martin Luther King Jr., it expresses how people deal with oppression in three characteristic ways. Acquiescence, violence, or nonviolent resistance are ways in which the oppressed deal with their oppressors. Among these three, there is one method that seems to be the most effective: nonviolent resistance.
