  • Essay / Pros and Cons of Social Media - 1954

“One day recently, Cynthia Newton's 12-year-old daughter asked her for help with her homework, but Newton wouldn't help her , because she was too busy on Facebook. . So her daughter went up to her room and sent her an email asking for help, but Newton didn't see the email because she was too busy on Facebook. This unusual action, carried out by one of this country's typical mothers, is taken from an article entitled "Five clues...Facebook" from CNN. As the social media system has taken root in our society, people have become very different from the past. As soon as Facebook appeared in the world, when Facebook appeared, people were fascinated by it and it became the most massive and powerful social network that connects the whole world. Since the birth of Facebook, a majority of people have become so addicted to it [D1] that Newton acted; So, what attracts people to Facebook? As the Psy phenomenon demonstrates, social media has played a fundamental role in our lives and is...... middle of paper ......ose photos of menus that other people have posted before. I'm never afraid to walk through the door of a new restaurant again. In fact, it is now impossible for us to separate ourselves from social media since it plays a necessary role in our generation. We must remember that it is not the fault of social networks that they can sometimes be abused, but it is ours. We shouldn't create a generation where a mother is too busy chatting with her friends on Facebook and can't help her daughter with her homework, or where someone spends all day stalking their ex-girlfriend. [D23] It's too miserable. And yet we shouldn't just throw social networks out of here, because Facebook and Youtube give us so many moments of joy for others and for my own. We should always be aware and careful about how we use social media and balance it well. That's all. Now let me refresh my home page. [D24]
