    CONCLUSIONIn conclusion, both developing and developed countries are plagued by child poverty. Regardless, we cannot remain inactive, as several steps could be taken to reduce child poverty. The biggest problem, however, is not the legal framework but its application, both in Ethiopia and Greece. The most essential effort would therefore be to get governments and individuals to act. This won't happen until we are willing to admit that these problems are our responsibility and that it is up to us to pressure our governments and legislators to act. It is in our hands to ensure the safety of children. Furthermore, we must not fall into the trap of blaming anyone and everyone for the unacceptable situation of child poverty, as we then risk not knowing who is responsible for protecting children and where we identify the chess.
