Essay / Protein content in larvae - 993
RResults shown in Table (1) indicate that the amount of total protein in adult males is higher than in other stages of the black and white liquor larval treatments, in which they were 20.83 and 19.05 mg/gbwt, respectively. Larval black liquor treatment, at the pupal stage, showed the lowest amount of total protein compared to other stages, which was 15.53 mg/gbwt. During the larval white liquor treatment, the adult female stage had the lowest amount of total protein compared to the other stages at 17.19 mg/gbwt. It is clear that the total protein content of larvae treated with either black liquor or black liquor. with white liquor were higher than the control at all developmental stages except the pupal stage. The black liquor treatment was inferior to the control. There were three common bands between the control group and the white liquor treatment, bands #25, 27 and 28 (Mwt 21.4, 16.4 and 11.3 KDa, respectively) and two common bands between the control group and black liquor treatment, bands no. 2 and 19 (Mwt > 203 and 38.4 KDa, respectively). Additionally, there were two common bands between the two treatments, bands #6 and 23 (Mwt 94.4 and 25.5 KDa, respectively) and bands #4, 7, 9, 12, 16, 17 , 20, 24 and 26 (Mwt 143.8, 88, 70, 63.4, 52.6, 48.8, 34.7, 25.2 and 19.4 KDa, respectively) appeared only in the control group . Bands #1, 8, 11, 15, 18 and 21 (Mwt > 203, 83.3, 65.1, 55, 40 and 32.2 KDa, respectively) were detected only in the white liquor treatment . Bands No. 3, 5, 10, 13, 14, 22 and 29 (Mwt 163.7, 122.4, 68.5, 59.1, 57, 26.7 and 5.5 KDa, respectively) appeared only in the black liquor treatment, as shown in table (3) and fig. (1).
