The transportation system in Pakistan is vast and diverse, serving not only its population but also its military support. The most common means of transportation in Pakistan are roads, railways, aviation and seaports. In recent years, new national roads have been built, complemented by highways that have improved trade and logistics within the country. Much of Pakistan's railway network was built before 1947, mainly during the British Raj. Airports and seaports were built with the addition of foreign and domestic financing. Due to its strategic location, a well-developed and well-organized transportation system will significantly contribute to the booming national economy. If successfully realised, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will connect the remote regions of our country into a single road connecting Asia. With the help of CPEC, road and rail infrastructure will integrate Pakistan with regional countries, leading to an economic boom by integrating Pakistani markets with Central Asia, the Middle East and other parts of the world . Besides transport infrastructure, the economic corridor will provide Pakistan with modern telecommunications and energy infrastructure.,
