Art in which a highly detailed realistic setting is invaded or interrupted by something unrealistic or strange to believe, is now called magical realism. It began with magical realism or Magischer Realismus, invented in the 1920s in Germany, in relation to Weimar Republic painting which attempted to capture the mystery of life behind surface reality. Marvelous realism was introduced to Latin America in the 1940s as an expression of the mixture of magical and realistic views of life. This was expressed in different literary works and in their art, it became an integral part of the culture. During the 1950s, in relation to the marvelous realism of Latin America, magical realism was adopted as a new term used to refer to any work of art that presents magical events in realistic facts in which the supernatural is not not a simple or obvious question, but rather is adopted as a common phenomenon in daily life. The supernatural is accepted, interpreted and digested normally in literary realism. Magical realism is a literary genre in which magical elements are a normal part of a realistic environment. An example of magical realism can be when a character in the story continues to be alive beyond a normal lifespan, as they can continue to exist throughout a set of different generations. The story depicts the character as a normal character and does not give him any supernatural attributions, but such a character will break the rules of our world. The author will provide some details to show the reader the use of magical realism.
