When it comes to discussing the government shutdown, most people would agree that the main reason for the shutdown would be that the government failed to pass legislation to provide funds for the new economic year and Fiscal Act of 2014. The question of where this agreement ends is the question of the damage that the government shutdown has had on different concepts of international government. Public spending and different policies have also played a major role in this political and economic crisis. The negative effects of the shutdown have affected the jobs and lives of many hard-working Americans. This has resulted in a number of health programs important to public safety, such as infectious disease surveillance, inspections of food and drug manufacturers, and monitoring of imported food and drugs.1 This has affected many American citizens because the foods they eat can be infected with diseases. which can cause illness or even death, and also caused health and social services to lay off 52 percent of their staff during the shutdown.2 This also caused many employees to be laid off, peaking at 850,000 people.3 This unfortunate economic crisis has caused various negative effects on the lives of Americans across the country.
