Coming from a time in my life filled with depression, anxiety, and uncontrollable panic attacks, I have learned and grown a lot as an individual. Although I have my off days, I can usually manage my negative thoughts well and maintain my positive thoughts in a rational manner. By combatting my pessimism honestly and immediately when it arises, it strengthens my control over my thoughts. Additionally, I believe I have become an attentive friend by actively communicating with myself and regularly analyzing my actions. As long as I continue to float in the same direction and take one glass of nectar at a time, mindfulness will continue to help me and my relationships in the world be better.
