Unplugging is not something I actively seek. Growing up in the digital age has forced me to rely on technology to some extent in my daily life. If I write an essay for school, it almost always has to be typed. The search for any course is done primarily online. Trying to gather friends for any event requires multiple apps and group chats. Even personal activities have been shifted to more digital alternatives. Books can now be read from a phone and writing books has become less of a handwriting process and more of a typing process. Today, writing represents 5% of talent, 95% are not distracted by the Internet, where most people spend what little free time they have.
