    Stevie's World In the world, many people face obstacles that they feel have almost stopped them from doing what they want. One such person is Stevland Hardaway Morris, or better known as Stevie Wonder. His story shows that no matter how serious the problem; do what you believe in to achieve what you never imagined. Stevie Wonder overcame blindness by teaching himself music, persevering despite discrimination, and becoming one of the most famous singers in the world. Wonder was born on May 13, 1950, in Saginaw, Mississippi. He was born six weeks premature and it wasn't healthy for him. He was placed in an incubator for fifty-two days so doctors could try to save his life. This is the known reason why he is blind. At the age of five, Stevie Wonder discovered he loved music. and he wasn't going to let his blindness stop him. Although he was blind, he went and taught himself to play many instruments before anyone even knew who Stevie Wonder was. Then he started to become interested in creating his own songs. In his mind, being blind was an inspiration to follow his dreams, which were to sing and play music. This inspiration led him to surpass himself. Stevie Wonder wanted to help write music for a film. How was a blind man supposed to write music for a film? Some doubted him, but he did it. Stevie Wonder has won a few Grammy Awards. He is actually one of the few singers to have won multiple Grammy Awards. Stevie Wonder showed that he can achieve his goals no matter what the problem. This shows that you can achieve something no matter how difficult it is. many goals to not only be able to sing and play instruments, but to be recognized for it, and to do more than he ever imagined he could. doing things that others have only imagined doing, with the obstacle of being blind..
