Few people stop to appreciate and reflect on the importance of how their home, school or other buildings are constructed . People see buildings without realizing their complexity and the artists behind the creation of these places where they spend hours. Architects are artists, and one of the most influential architects of the 20th century who still has an impact on architecture today is Le Corbusier. He was one of the pioneers of modern and contemporary architectural movements. Le Corbusier also contributed to new theories and innovations in designs and materials. He was the designer and creator of dozens of buildings and projects declared world heritage and which today attract many people and tourists. Le Corbusier's practices, designs and concepts are still relevant and used in the way buildings are constructed today. He was one of the key figures of modern architecture. To understand the importance of Le Corbusier, or any other architect, people must understand the importance of architecture itself. Architecture is considered one of the six fine arts. Historically, civilizations are known for their architectural achievements and works considered cultural symbols such as the pyramids of Egypt, the Roman Colosseum and the Eiffel Tower. The way a building is constructed, how architects design and plan it, is the key to all construction; this is the starting point and it can change the entire perception and utility of all the buildings that surround us on a daily basis.
