A. In this presentation our group will cover Italian culture. Alternative names for Italy are: Republic of Italy, Italia and Republica Italiana. The current population of Italy is 58.2 million and the capital is Rome.B. Italy is surrounded by four Mediterranean seas and is currently home to three active volcanoes: Stromboli, Vesuvius and Etna. Italy is also known to be the homeland of the Pope.C. Today we will define Italian culture through these five areas: religious beliefs and holidays, family structure, educational structure, business structure, and political practices. Another known reason why it is highly Catholic is that all other religions have mixed with popular Spanish beliefs. Rome is the capital of Italy and the center of the Roman Catholic religion.1.
