IntroductionAgnosia is a condition that can occur when the patient has damage to certain areas of the brain. Agnosia is the conscious inability to identify sensory stimuli that is not due to deficits in sensory, verbal, or cognitive abilities. (Pinel, 2007). There are many different forms of agnosia, although the most common cases rely on memory and visual perception. There are many cases of agnosia caused by different affected cortical areas.
