1. What is culture? What I personally believe is that our culture is the foundation of who we really are in life. It identifies the lifestyle and activities practiced by the group of people with whom we relate in our society. In other words, an important concept to understand is that cultural beliefs, values, and practices are learned from birth, first in the home, church, and other places of encounter. Some practices and beliefs in human culture include religion, music, sports, diet, health beliefs, and art that represent the values we have in life. Additionally, our own culture is diverse and it is important to look at it and identify what we value most, what is essential and how we see the world. It is our remaining tool and we don't even realize that it is necessary to communicate and socialize with others. Most of the cultures around us across the world are based on material culture and non-material culture.
