  • Essay / We must help people in poverty - 863

More than fifty million people, out of ninety million, live below the poverty line in Egypt (Ben-Meir). This shows how poverty is spreading without any difficulty throughout the world, especially in Egypt. Our job in the world is to help the needy because they desperately need a helping hand. We cannot simply ignore the poor because, no matter what, they still make up 55 percent of our Egyptian population (Ben-Meir). Egypt does not aspire to ignorance or unconsciousness, because these unconscious citizens do not lead to any new results. The most disadvantaged have negative feelings towards free public schools because they believe it will not benefit them, leading them to beg on the streets of Egypt. Furthermore, Egyptians, who are extremely poor, do not give credit to birth control and believe that having more than ten children is enough. Crucially, the government is not spending its money wisely on establishing public schools and educational institutions. Poverty is widespread throughout Egypt for the following reasons: citizens in poverty do not bother to go to free public schools, do not believe in birth control and prefer to have several children, and the fact that the government has large revenues, but does not. Poor Egyptians view free public schools as wasteful and unnecessary, ultimately leading them to beg on the streets of Egypt. These poor people do not bother to go to school, because they believe that it is of no use and will not bring them any benefit. I think this is invalid because these public schools are not only free, but they will also educate the illiterate with lasting knowledge. I used to think that these public schools were educating Egyptians... middle of paper ...... where the government spends its revenue inefficiently. I believe we should all step up in some way to support these people in need, as nearly 800 million people suffer from hunger and poverty around the world (Oracle Foundation). They can't find food or water to eat and drink, and they can't afford to pay for anyone. They go beyond the stage of anorexia and move on to more complex stages which require serious medical care, the costs of which they cannot afford. Experiencing starvation is a difficult phase for them, as they feel a constant pain in their stomach which they cannot simply get rid of by entering their kitchen, even if they have one. To conclude, it is necessary to support the needy, especially when they find themselves in a time of despair, and we should be ready to make donations as a way to promote stability in their lives..
