    My origin is Italian but I was born in America so I am rather Americanized. But that doesn't mean my Italian roots don't show up from time to time. My daily life is actually much more influenced than I initially thought by being Italian. For example, my mother constantly prepares these gigantic meals that would make all my friends want to live at my house. Even when I was younger, my mom would make all these great meals from chicken to different types of pasta. I always brought these foods for lunch to school and not a day went by that I wasn't asked to swap lunches. Of course, I never did because I loved my mother's home-cooked meals. Since I always ate these meals as a child, you could say I was a little fascinated with how they are prepared. So naturally, I asked my mother to teach me and ever since, I've made it part of my lifestyle. By lifestyle, I mean a fairly active lifestyle.
