The company has a high-level management team, the Board of Directors (BOD), which includes four executive directors and five independent directors. Samsung, with this type of structure, aims to strengthen the independence and autonomy of the board of directors as well as the transparency of the decision-making procedure. In addition, under the Board of Directors, there are six committees, the Management Committee, Related Party Transactions, Audit, Independent Director Recommendation, Remuneration and Corporate Social Responsibility Committee.
