Evidence for a Young EarthContrary to the most popular belief about the age of the Earth, scientific evidence proves otherwise. Evolutionary science, in its attempt to prove a millions-year-old blueprint, has been astonished by the findings of its own research. Every time they found evidence to support their argument, it disproved their theory. Let's examine the facts revealed by their findings. Cliffs and lakes: These should destroy themselves over time. All rivers flow into the ocean and with them comes all the alluvial sand and dirt they carry. Winds carry dirt and blow at unimaginable speeds, carrying eroded materials and dirt with them, all into oceans and lakes. Given the weathering processes (which can actually be observed), we might wonder why we still have cliffs if the earth is as old as we suppose. How can millions of years of existence leave lakes with so much less silt? Why do we still have lakes and, even worse, why is it uniform all over the world. This may be the result of a global flood. Maybe after all the current surface of the world is the result of a catastrophic event and yes, maybe the earth is young after all and evolution is just a farce. Dr. D. Russell Humphreys, (Ph.D.) in EVIDENCE FOR A YOUNG WORLD says this: Every year, water and winds erode approximately 25 billion tons of soil and rock from the continents and deposit them in the ocean. This material accumulates as loose sediment (e.g. mud) on the hard basalt rock (formed by lava) of the ocean floor. The average depth of all mud in the entire ocean, including continental shelves, is less than 400 meters. The main known method for removing mud from the ocean floor is plate tectonic subduction. In other words, the seabed is slipping... middle of paper... oil. 9This story of the flood is the one that gives strength to the theory of a young earth.
