  • Essay / Personal Story: Immature Decisions - 953

I felt completely different about my life and the way I was living it. I wanted to change my life at that moment and I knew I couldn't do it right away, that it would take time and effort. I spoke to my mother the next day and told her everything I realized and apologized for being the way I was and making all the immature decisions I was at the moment. My consequences have motivated me to become the person I am today and live my life making better decisions for myself. Overall in my life today, 3 years later, I appreciate my life and the lives of those around me much more than I did when I was sixteen. I have a clear mindset; I set goals and make much smarter decisions. I appreciate this experience because it taught me a life lesson and helped me start thinking the way I think today. I would never recommend anyone to do such a thing. My psychedelic experience with LSD may not have been a very wise decision, but it was a very impactful moment in my life, I learned that the expectations I have of things don't match always in their reality.
