“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I will remember, involve me and I learn.” » - Benjamin Franklin Anything that defied gravity caught my interest, mostly because I couldn't defy gravity. Planes were my favorite: they defied gravity despite their size and mass. And the science that helped them do it captivated me so much that I joined PB College of Engineering, Chennai for a bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering without any hesitation. An admission into this highly ranked college of Anna University which offered subjects like Fluid Mechanics. and machinery, thermodynamics of aeronautical engineering, aerodynamics, propulsion, aircraft systems and instrumentation, aircraft structures, flight dynamics, wind tunnel techniques, avionics, vibration and aerodynamic elasticity and computational fluid dynamics, etc., has been the best thing that ever happened to me. I would like to continue gaining this knowledge and experience in this highly specialized field by enrolling in the Master of Aerospace Engineering program at the University of Toronto. Aeronautics fascinates me like nothing else and I did not want to limit my training to classroom learning alone. . I like the challenges of life. Competitions in aeronautics organized by various colleges gave me impetus, so I participated in various competitions at every opportunity that came my way. I also participated in various workshops and this introduced me to the world of aeromodelling. This gave me the opportunity to learn how to make a basic balsa wood glider and later the basic remote controlled airplane. Armed with this knowledge as well as the knowledge gained from the concepts learned in class, our group participated in the Rubber Band Powered Glider competition...... middle of paper ...... under the Indian Ministry of Defense for more than two years. With the desire to bring my power to the oppressed, I became a member of a charity “Friends” involved in helping the poor and orphans through education. With the knowledge and experience I have and will gain, it is my desire to contribute my mite to create, innovate and improvise aerospace technology, which will help serve humanity and also achieve my goal to long term of being a research professional, I decided to continue my studies and do my master's degree in your university. I believe and am confident that with my thirst for knowledge coupled with the right kind of infrastructure, I will be a suitable candidate to pursue my Masters program in your esteemed university and I am confident that I will make my university proud if I am admitted and that I will bring distinctions. for the establishment.
