Execution performance management requires the participation of many stakeholders (managers, supervisors, and subordinates). For the system to be successful and accepted, a clear understanding of the system is necessary for effective implementation. Supervision and explanation of the performance appraisal system is very crucial for performance. “Simply developing a strategy model does not guarantee strategy success. » Othman (2008, p. 261). Clarifying objectives and regular supervision contribute to people development, improved performance and satisfaction. Therefore, supervision and explanations are appropriate for all employees, regardless of their performance. The research report was carried out to study the mindset of teachers from different ethnic backgrounds in Malaysia towards the new results-oriented performance appraisal system.
