Bonnie Parker was born on October 1, 1910, in Rowena, Texas. Bonnie was an excellent student and the second of three children. An avid fan of Romance and Confession magazines, she was not the typical stereotype of a killer, let alone a serial murderer. Standing four feet ten inches tall, she married Roy Thornton. She had two hearts tattooed on her inner thigh with their names intertwined. But a year later, they separated. She then went to visit a friend in West Dallas, where she came to meet Clyde Barrow. Clyde Barrow was born in Telico, Texas on March 21, 1909. Clyde was the youngest of eight children and a little over a year older than his future. spouse. Clyde never made it past eighth grade. Clyde was shorter than average, standing five feet six and three quarters of an inch tall. His father was a sharecropper and his was a mason. His father soon opened a grocery store and he left school to sell stolen turkeys with his brother Buck. Bonnie soon learns of Clyde's criminal activities as the law searches for him and he sends her to Denton, Texas on stolen merchandise charges. The law did not have enough evidence and transferred him to Waco, Texas where he confessed to several car thefts. He was sentenced to two years in prison on each count, but was later allowed to serve them concurrently. Bonnie visited him daily and on one such trip she smuggled a foal to Clyde and his cellmate. That night they escaped, although the freedom was short-lived. They were captured in Ohio and Clyde was sentenced to 14 years in prison. He was pardoned in 1932, after his mother's intervention. He soon returned to Bonnie and they drove off in a stolen car. He handled the thefts and Bonnie was soon drawn into the plots. In Wellington, Texas, their stolen Ford plunged off a bridge and Bonnie was trapped underneath. Some local farmers saved it when the machine caught fire. Although his leg would never be the same, it quickly became deformed and required medical attention. While they were trying to contact his parents, the sheriff caught wind of it and ambushed them, peppering their stolen car with bullets and hitting Bonnie and Clyde in the legs...
