    Every parent wants the best education for their child, but how do they decide whether to send them to a public school or a charter school? Parents base their decisions on what the school has to offer their child and favoritism plays a large role in their choice. Other factors to consider are the character building and fundamentals their children will learn and receive, the student-teacher ratio, and funding for either school. Charter schools provide superior education, they also offer innovative curriculum and an alternative way of delivering education, such as, classes for exceptional children, classes for children who learn at different paces from others, and classes for speech therapy. Charter schools are free from the bureaucracy that controls traditional public schools. For example, charter schools are allowed to develop their own school policies.
