Aspen BlackburnIntro. to Education4/7/2014Special EducationThe topic I chose to write about is special education. In this article I will explain what special education is, how as a parent to help your child participate in this program, how it helps children, who you should talk to about your child's admission , their expectations, the decision to enroll your child there. in Special Education and how to register your child if you no longer want them to participate in this program. Special education is a program established for children with special needs who need assistance. You can participate in this program from birth until the age of 21. These children range from many disabilities, as small as a problem, to disabilities as significant as a disability. Each student has their own file. And to be part of special education, you have to be organized and know what you're doing. You have a bunch of paperwork to redo every year. Special education helps in many areas of disability. Each child should have a goal that they must “achieve,” if the goal they had is not met the following year when they re-evaluate the IEP and set a different goal. This program should help students obtain accommodations and modifications. This does not mean that children with disabilities who participate in this program are not surrounded by their peers. The goal is for each student to experience the other. Students act as role models for each other. And for people who aren't really interested in diversity, it gives them a chance to understand. They should be able to interact socially with them. The only time they leave a classroom is if they have behavior problems or need something read to them. When you decide to take your child's best interest into account. take them out. But is this really the case or are you just very insecure? Your child may need it more than you think. You should really rethink the purpose of your child being in this program for a reason. And you also had to do so much paperwork to get them in. The child had to go through a horrible amount of tests to get to where he is. During my research for this article, I already knew so much about special education. In our Introduction to Education class, we talked a lot about this program. As a teacher, you must collect your belongings so as not to mix up student files. You also need to know exactly what you are doing. It can all be so stressful. You need to make sure that students' goals are not too high. Special education teachers are hard to find. But when you have one, you keep it for a long time.
