There is always a reason for things and a purpose for what they become in a world where interdependence is the way of life for all that exists. Humans, in their selfish nature, constantly strive to extract themselves completely from the circle of correlation with other creatures to present themselves as the highest being in nature, while forgetting the essentials of who they are. really. Despite all the knowledge that man can accumulate, if he himself forgets, all this knowledge will be of no use. To be able to live in all his power, he must know himself; fundamentally his nature and to know it, he must take an excursion, lose himself in nature and contemplate his life in correlation with the other being. In doing so, he will understand his being not through what others have told him about himself or what he sees of others, but he will see more deeply the basis of what being human is. “Gnothi seauton” (Know thyself) said Socrates because there is not much we can learn from people, but by knowing ourselves, we begin to understand what surrounds us. The world we live in is greatly influenced by what some great leaders have determined to be the way of life or, let's say, human conventions are those that guide people throughout their journey in the natural world of which they are the product. Life itself is natural, so if it existed as a living creature, there should be no code for a living creature; let's say that humans must follow so that they can be considered a living being. What's the point of living if you don't know what living is? Thoreau must experience it himself to know who he really is. For he said: "I went to the woods because I wanted to live deliberately...... middle of paper ......rt is good health which sustains humans." We can be alive but we are not living because we are the robot of society; for if society is to direct all its actions towards what is good or evil, it must be clearly seen that it is the slave of society. In human nature there is a sensor for what is good or bad, but it is sensitized by the theory of society; humans are afraid of nature. Humans are afraid of the dark and afraid of quiet places. Even feeling lonely when the lover is not there, but Thoreau says he didn't feel alone at all. Loneliness is simply the way we look at things or perhaps what we call loneliness may have a different definition because the stars, as close as they seem to each other, are very far from each other . Knowing yourself is what can help humans move forward and live with others. Works Cited Thoreau Walden
