  • Essay / Reading and Writing: My Experience in My School Experience

    Writing essays was not my strong suit, or so I thought. While working on eLearning Module 5, titled Visual Organizers, Outlining and Writing. These words meant nothing to me when I first entered the module because I thought that for some people there was no need to use visual organizers or plans. I was exceptionally wrong about that. What surprised me was that the visual organizers and outlines, part of the pre-writing stage, taught in the eLearning module, were very simple and I was able to write down many ideas to get started my essay. This made writing the essay much easier, less stressful and faster. I wrote my compelling essay on the importance of sex education in schools and stated that schools do not teach students enough about sex in the United States and that this country has the highest pregnancy rates adolescent girls and sexually transmitted infections the highest in the world. With the help of my instructor, the feedback on my first draft helped me revise, once again, to help me transform the essay into a more compelling essay. I feel like I've made a strong argument on the subject and destroyed the counter-arguments regarding the
