Essay / Obama's Marxist Agenda - 991
President Obama's approval ratings continue to fall and the dark clouds of recession remain over the economy. Oddly, though, he spends much of his time chasing bottom feeders by casting his progressive net into the murky, stagnant waters of network television in an effort to solidify his base. He's in his element chatting with daytime and late-night talk shows, laughing with light-hearted liberals. Grounding the ship of state or demeaning the office of the presidency doesn't appear to be a major issue for Chicago's left-wing community organizer. Moreover, he continues the union circuit, ingratiating himself with the most die-hard Marxist unions. of the country who are responsible for a large part of the financial difficulties from which our country suffers. His appeasement and bailout of Labor at the expense of job-creating businesses is nothing more than a handout to his base using taxpayers' money. The only openings to business are those he can control or nationalize. The last two decades have brought the States another scourge; public employee unions which are welfare programs on steroids. States found themselves in the same situation as companies; if they did not capitulate to the unions, they would not be able to produce a product or provide a service; if they capitulated, they would be driven into bankruptcy. No politician since Ronald Reagan has had the courage to stand up to them. Obama owes his presidency to unions; therefore, everything he does is a reward for this support. Every piece of legislation passed during Obama's presidency has been a socialist redistribution of income to please the unions. He has a complicit Congress in full agreement with his agenda totally in great shape...... middle of paper ...... it's about politicians staying in power. American taxpayers are now being called upon to bail out those states that have been reckless in their spending, careless in their promises, and lacking in judgment and common sense. Fewer taxpayers are being asked to support more people. Obama knows his economic plan will not create jobs in the private sector. Blaming the Republicans and George Bush is his only defense of his policies. The only offense he has is creating more public sector jobs and bailing out states to protect the jobs of his base; unions. Every public policy and piece of legislation passed by this administration and Congress runs counter to the views of Americans. Obama's Marxist agenda is central to his presidency and he is convinced he can turn public opinion around by lying, blaming others, and getting more Democrats on the ballot using our money..
