  • Essay / Workplace Transformation and Its Importance - 1021

Workplace transformation is necessary to help a business continue to succeed and grow in the future. The company I work for is currently going through a massive transformation and reorganization. The objective of the transformation is to become more efficient by reducing redundancies and also to be able to better serve our customers through specialized centers of excellence. It will also allow us to move faster in terms of delivering new and improved products, at a faster pace than ever before. The biggest problem in any business transformation and reorganization is the effect on the employees who are most affected, often in the form of layoffs or changes to the job description, which force the employee to reapply for their own employment, even if it is a new role and a new title. I'm trying to keep an open mind about this, especially since the reason I was able to join the company in the first place was the result of vacancies due to a previous transformation the company went through almost four years ago. So while the loss of good employees is inevitable, there is also an opportunity to see an influx of new talent across the company, which is exciting. The hardest part of transformation, for me, is seeing someone you've worked with for years lose their job. or his work. It is very difficult to see very talented people being offered severance packages and having their jobs eliminated. It also makes your daily work a little more difficult. You can normally rely on someone for help with a particular task, but suddenly that person is no longer available to help you, or if they are still there, you need to be aware of their situation and ensure you do your due diligence. appropriate empathy for their current situation...... middle of paper ......-organization. There is a strong emphasis on the urgency of implementing changes quickly. The company's changes will help us roll out new products and services faster than ever through improved efficiency. Reducing redundancies will not only help reduce costs, but will also deliver a better customer experience, as it will enable the creation of new specialist centers of excellence that will enable our talent level to be much higher than usual. it is today.
