  • Essay / Essay on French Revolution - 1039

The French Revolution, a greatest event of modern times that shocked France and other countries due to its enormous impact. He influenced the entire human society and conveyed a message of liberty, equality and fraternity. The French Revolution was a movement that took place from 1789 to 1799; it was a violent and bloody revolt that caused many brutal events in history such as the execution of King Louis XV1 and his wife Marie Antoinette. This also destroyed the entire generation of the king's family as his youngest son suffered and died, his daughter lived a brutal life. The French Revolution launched a region of terror that killed thousands and inspired almost every European country like Italy and Russia. It was about overthrowing the monarchy and the government and establishing the republic. The causes that formed the French revolution were the differences between the three social classes (first estate clergy, second nobility and third commoner), tax injustice for example the third estate had to pay a lot of taxes while the first and third estate second estate paid little or not at all. Bread prices were so high that a person on minimum wage could not afford it and had to survive without food. Most of the French population was made up of commoners, but they were nonetheless discriminated against and owned less land. Other causes were government weakness, crises, leaders, ideology and discontent in France. People also thought that everything that was happening in France was because of Marie Antoinette (King Louis XV1) because she was a foreigner from Austria and they also thought she was the lesbian type because her relationship with women was weird . All of these factors have left France with enormous lifespan destruction. Legacy is a long-term effect where a person, an event... middle of paper... democratic ideas were formed such as encouraging the rule of law, census policy and democratic regime. Internationalism gained momentum as the French Revolution gave rise to the need to come together internationally to face common danger. It emerged in the form of the Concert of Europe. This marked the beginning of an era of international bodies. In conclusion, the French Revolution was a very brutal movement because it completely destroyed French civilization, orphaned children, and left so many people on the streets. No one got what they wanted because every man who came to power did everything for his own benefit. It was a failure because the Bourbon family returned to the throne so what was the point of this movement when the fall of the monarchy failed. even if it was a failure, it transmitted to humanity a message of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity..
