  • Essay / Deep Run: Trucks in the Automotive Industry Today

There are many trucks in the automotive industry today. Today's trucks have many options to choose from. You can purchase a fully loaded truck or a complete base stock truck. Then you also have the different models which include foreign and domestic. Some examples of foreign models are Nissan and Toyota. Then you have the American made trucks like General Motors, Ford, Dodge and Chevrolet. Every brand of truck is different from each other. This can range from the options the truck gives you to the frame of the truck. When you buy a truck, you want to buy the best one and one that will last a long time. Many people like to buy American-made trucks like Ford and Chevrolet because they are homemade. Personally, I prefer Chevrolet trucks that are American. I was a mechanic for two years and was able to see first hand all of the different trucks available on the market today. I have nothing but good things to say about Ford and Chevrolet. On the other hand, I noticed a lot of problems and inadequacies with foreign brands like Nissan and Toyota. I will detail the positives I found in American trucks and the negatives compared to foreign models. Chevrolet trucks are the most reliable trucks on the market. Chevrolet Silverado trucks are very good trucks. Personally, I own one and have had no major problems with it. Chevrolet trucks also look great and come with plenty of options. You can get Chevrolet trucks fully equipped with leather seats, heated seats, or a new body style. The new body style of Chevrolet trucks is really nice and unlike any other truck. Chevrolet trucks also have different engines. You can get a V8 or a V6. It's really up to you whether or not you want to save gas. Chevrolet, yes... middle of paper... but at the end of the day, you can't go wrong with an American made truck. There are thousands of trucks in today's automotive industry. Buying a truck in today's society is not an easy task. Many people are quick to judge you because of the truck you own. You have to be able to eliminate bad models. As previously mentioned, I own a Chevrolet Silverado and have had no problems with it. When you buy a truck, you want to buy one that will last you a very long time. You want a truck that won't break down. There are many models like General Motors, Dodge, Chevrolet, Ford, Nissan and Toyota. They all have different types of models and options. Ultimately, I believe that American models should be strongly considered. Most likely, you would want to go with a Chevrolet Silverado, as they usually break down. Remember, Chevrolet has depths.
