There are many important factors as to why great companies fail. Have you ever wondered what they are? Over the years, the reasons have become very obvious to people, and most of these causes have occurred in almost every society that has collapsed. These problems occurred in many societies, including ancient Rome, ancient Greece, and Hitler's Germany. By and large, large corporations collapse because of internal problems such as unemployment that leaves people begging for money, political corruption that government officials constantly fight against, and rapid expansion that makes very difficult for soldiers to be at all borders protecting the entire empire. One of the main reasons why large companies collapse is unemployment. Wealthier people owned farms and had slaves work, which made their products cheaper. However, farmers who had released men they had to pay could not sell their products very cheaply, because they needed money to pay the workers. Eventually, the farmers could not keep up with the cheap products and ultimately lost their farms, leaving them unemployed and the freed men working for them. These unemployed people have caused crime rates to rise dramatically. “In the last years of the empire, agriculture was done on large estates called latifundia which were owned by wealthy men who used slave labor. A farmer who had to pay workers could not produce goods at such a low cost. Many farmers were unable to compete with these low prices and lost or sold their farms. These people were not only a burden, but had nothing to do but cause problems and contribute to an ever-increasing crime rate. » With so many unemployed in Germany at the time of the Great Depression, they began to apply for a loan...... middle of paper ...... can and has fallen for reasons such as unemployment, political corruption and rapid expansion, all coming from within.
